EQ BANK BUSINESS ACCOUNT WAIT LIST LANDING PAGE

Challenge

EQ Bank is planning to launch its first business account in Spring 2024. This particular product launch is public knowledge, so the bank wanted to offer current and potential EQ Bank customers the opportunity to be notified once the product goes live—hence, a wait list landing page with a sign-up form for users to provide their email address.

Solution

Header

I wrote a clear, crisp, and catchy headline that aligns with the bank’s current “Make Bank” brand campaign, as well as a subline that clearly states the product is coming and its value props, with a clear CTA to sign up for the wait list.

Explanatory copy

I wrote further intro copy that continues to weave in “Make Bank” language and the bank’s playful tone of voice, while immediately telling business owners how we solve their pain point with other banks (high fees). Lastly, I used empathetic language to directly address what business owners care about most: their business.

Features & benefits

To move users further through the journey, I wrote an engaging subheading to introduce the features and benefits they can expect from a business account with EQ Bank. I reiterated the bank’s no-fee value prop before expanding on other features through a scannable bullet list.

Sign-up form

I wrote a short and simple form for users to input their name and email address, including error copy with a human and guiding tone.

Note originally the Business Account was named the “Small Business Account,” so I initially wrote the heading as, “Your small business deserves big savings.” The bank has since decided to go with “Business Account” and simply removed “small” from the heading.

Final CTA push

To keep users engaged within the website, I wrote copy to promote the high interest and ease of banking with EQ Bank’s Personal Account..
